New year, new office, new clients…new cervical discs…?

Today was the final day in this office and my time here started and ended with the same client. This girl was my first ever appointment when I got licensed and started at my previous practice, and she came with coffee and flowers in hand as my first appointment when I opened up Moe Therapy. Naturally, she requested to be the last appointment in this office as well so even though I moved everything else out over the weekend, I left the rug and we did our session on the floor with pillows today and it made my heart very happy.

I am so honored to do the work that I do and walk alongside people as we figure out this thing called life, work to heal things that have hurt, and strive to be the best version of ourselves. It is not lost on me that I am trusted with people’s darkest and highest moments and I take that very seriously and consider it a privilege to work through all of it.

Transparently, I’ve been meaning to write a carefully crafted blog post about all the changes around here before the actual move, but time has slipped away quickly (as is seems to do this time of year!) and instead I am going to go get a few new discs in my neck tomorrow and take a short medical leave as I recover from surgery. So the much shorter version of this update is that the office is moving, and in the new location I am excited to be opening up to both male and female clients. I will continue to work out of Fargo every other week to see people in-person and/or telehealth as well as solely telehealth on the opposite weeks when I am out of town.

I wish everyone Happy Holidays and am sure we will have lots to chat about either way in the New Year!
